In an effort to make it easier to drive the vehicle while towing a trailer, the F-150 is now available with Pro Trailer Backup Assist that allows the truck to be autonomously backed in 
reverse by using the knob on the dash to direct the trailer. Whether the owner is driving a Ford 150 Apple Valley or downtown Boston, this new feature will make it infinitely easier to safely backup the vehicle when a trailer is attached.

Natural Gas Prep Package
With more and more people looking to develop alternative gas options for better fuel economy, prices or to help the environment, Ford is now offering a package that enables buyers to replace traditional unleaded gasoline with natural gas. While this is not expected to be a high-volume package, it is an industry game changer because Ford is the only manufacturer to offer such a feature.

For drivers who want the utility of a truck with the comfort and conveniences of a luxury vehicle, the F150 Limited is the only option. The Limited model receives a unique exterior design 
with 22-inch wheels, a satin grille and special badging on the hood. Once inside the truck, buyers will be impressed with the array of standard features like massaging rear seats, the Sync 3 infotainment system and full leather seating surfaces.

Sync 3 Infotainment System
The 2016 F150 is available with Ford's newest version of their popular infotainment system, Sync 3. Earlier variants of the Sync system were criticized for not being user-friendly; however, Sync 3 is billed as being much quicker, far easier to use and containing many new features.
New Color Options
For 2016, buyers now have the option of choosing two new exterior colors - Shadow Black and Lithium Gray. These colors will be available in addition to the more than 10 different options already found on the F150.
